Message from the Mayor

Welcome to the beautiful Town of Whiteway. We are located approximately one and a half hours drive from St. John’s and a thirty minute drive from the Carbonear and Bay Robert’s area.

Whiteway is a small, quiet town that can be found along Route 80, and The Baccileau Trail  that follows the scenic shore of Trinity Bay. We are home to the well known  Shag Rock that juts out of the harbor to create a unique point of interest.

Whiteway is a growing town with a balanced demographic range, including many young families that have settled down here in recent years. In the past five years approximately 10 to 15 new homes. have been built in our town. Several older homes have also been sold and renovated and are now occupied by new residents.
